Terms of Service

1. Service
Woev provides personal dog walking services in Amsterdam. All walks are performed by Tom Dekker. By booking a walk, you agree to these terms.
2. Bookings and cancellations
Walks are confirmed once you receive a confirmation from Woev. Please cancel at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee. Late cancellations (under 24 hours) may be charged at 50% of the walk price.
3. Weather and force majeure
In cases of extreme weather (e.g. storm warnings, unsafe conditions) or circumstances beyond our control, Woev reserves the right to cancel or shorten a walk without a cancellation fee. We will notify you as early as possible and offer to reschedule at no extra cost.
4. Pricing and payment
Current pricing is displayed on the Woev website and communicated at booking. Prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Invoices are sent after each walk or at the end of the month for recurring clients, and are payable within 7 days via bank transfer.
5. Key holding
If you provide Woev with a key or access code to collect your dog, it will be stored securely and used solely for that purpose. Keys are labelled without your name or address for security. You may request your key back at any time, and it will be returned promptly upon ending the service. Woev is not liable for loss or damage resulting from a key you have chosen to provide.
6. Your dog's health and behaviour
You confirm that your dog is in good health, up to date on vaccinations, and fit for walking. Please disclose any behavioural traits or health conditions that may affect the walk. Woev reserves the right to decline or end a walk if the dog poses a risk to itself, others, or the walker.
7. Liability
Woev takes every reasonable precaution during walks. In the unlikely event of an incident, Woev carries liability insurance. However, we are not liable for pre-existing medical conditions or incidents outside our reasonable control.
8. Photos and walk data
Walk photos and GPS data are shared with you for your personal use. Woev may use anonymised walk imagery for marketing with your prior consent.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Amsterdam.
